Are your products Gluten Free?

Yes! We are very proud to say that all of our baked goods are 100% Gluten Free, we use alternative flours such as almond flour, rice flour, or chickpea flour instead of the usual wheat flour found in most recipes and baked goods.

Do your products contain any Dairy?

Never! We stand by our motto of 100% Gluten Free, 100% Vegan, and 0 Added Sugars very firmly. We do not use any ingredients that may contain animal products of any kind. We take a lot of care in selecting our ingredients to ensure that each one is 100% Vegan.

Do your products contain Peanuts?

No. While initially we thought about including a peanut butter cookie, we decided against it as we wanted to eliminate any risk of cross contamination and any possible peanut allergy issues that might arise. However since we are currently baking out of a home kitchen there cannot be any guarantee, but we try our absolute best to ensure that each of our products is as safe as can be. Also we primarily use almond flour to bake our cookies with and with that in mind if you do have a tree nut allergy we do not recommend these cookies. .

Is there soy in any of your products?

No. When looking for ingredients such as chocolate chips for our cookies and other baked goods, we frequently come across options with Soy, however we found it best to avoid this because we figured we would attract more customers if we did not use any products that contained soy in our recipes.

IF you have no added sugar, what do you use to sweeten your baked goods?

We are always striving to make as healthy as a recipe as possible for our customers, therefore we do not use any real sugars or sugar alternatives that have a high glycemic index. Therefore we prefer to primarily rely on Yacon Syrup to sweeten our baked goods as well as stevia and sometimes sugar alcohols such as xylitol. However, Yacon Syrup is our primary and main sweetener and one of the reasons why our products taste delicious.

What is Yacon?

Yacon is a plant native to South America, whose root is used to create a Syrup with the consistency and color or molasses. Yacon Syrup is sweet to the taste but not to the body, the carbohydrate compound called fructooligosaccharides is almost indigestible by the body and therefore Yacon Syrup overall has a very low glycemic index. Please go to the ‘Our Baked Goods’ page to read more about Yacon, how we use it, and the other sweeteners we use in our products.
